Can you help with this GoFundMe or other online fundraiser?

We’re trying to replace GoFundMe in the fire service. They charge fees. We don’t. We add to the amount raised. Tell your friends. We usually let GoFundMe go for 48 hours, and if it doesn't reach $20k, then we’ll donate or share it. Otherwise, our entire page would just be GoFundMe’s.

How can I start a fundraiser or get one going for a firefighter?

We can host a fundraiser for sure.

Just a few things we require to get the ball rolling:

💚 We need a paragraph or two on what's going on

💚 A picture we can share

💚 The name and address of who's getting the check

💚 There can't be any other fundraisers going (for example a GoFundMe)

💚 You have to share it on social media and tag us in it.

💚 And, probably most importantly - this has to be done ASAP

My donation/comment was not displayed on the donor wall.

You have to select the option to have your donation posted on the wall. You can reach out to DonorBox.org to see if they can add it. They’re our payment processor, and for security we cannot modify your donation after it’s made,.

How can I change my Yard Card Membership or donation amount?

Just follow these instructions:

Go to the Donorbox website (that's who processes stuff for The Yard Foundation) and log in to your account.

Click on "Donations" from the left-hand menu, then click on "Subscriptions" to see your recurring donations.

Find the recurring donation you want to update and click on its name.

You'll see a "View Subscription" button on the page. Click on it to view the subscription details.

In the subscription details, you'll see a "Change Payment Method" button. Click on it to update your credit card information.

A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the new credit card details. Fill in the required fields with the new information.

After you've entered the new information, click "Update" to save the changes.

Donorbox will attempt to charge the updated credit card on the next billing cycle.

That's it! The credit card information for your Yard Card should now be updated.
