Members of the Stillman Fire Protection District and the broader Ogle County community are rallying to support two of our own, who now face a battle that no firefighter ever expects—one against cancer.

Whitney Trosper Anderson, a dedicated firefighter, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She is embarking on an arduous journey of 16 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy over the next 8 months.

In addition, Dariusz Warzocha, another brave firefighter who had previously conquered an aggressive form of Leukemia, is now facing a heartbreaking recurrence of the disease, which has returned with a vengeance, leaving him unexpectedly hospitalized.

Whitney and Dariusz have devoted their lives to keeping our Ogle County community safe, embodying the selfless spirit that defines the firefighter profession. Now, we must stand by them when they need it most. These courageous individuals have put their lives on the line countless times, and now they need our help as they confront these formidable battles with cancer.

The harsh reality is that their fight against these aggressive cancers has forced both Whitney and Dariusz to step away from the firehouse for several months, placing a heavy financial burden on their families in addition to the physical and emotional toll of their illnesses.

While their fire station family is offering all the support they can, more assistance is urgently needed. We are calling on the community to come together and provide any financial help possible to ease the pressures they face during this difficult time.

Share this campaign and donate to support Whitney and Dariusz as they navigate these uncertain and challenging times. Your generosity will make a tremendous difference in the lives of these irreplaceable Stillman Fire Protection District members, as they fight to overcome cancer and return to the work they love—protecting all of us.
